रावणस्य तपः-शिवानुग्रहः — Rāvaṇa’s Austerity and Śiva’s Bestowal of Grace

नारद उवाच । श्रूयतां राक्षसश्रेष्ठ कथयामि हितं तव । त्वया तदेव कर्त्तव्यं मदुक्तं नान्यथा क्वचित्

nārada uvāca | śrūyatāṃ rākṣasaśreṣṭha kathayāmi hitaṃ tava | tvayā tadeva karttavyaṃ maduktaṃ nānyathā kvacit

Nārada sprach: „Höre, o Bester unter den Rākṣasas. Ich will dir sagen, was dir wahrhaft heilsam ist. Du sollst genau so handeln, wie ich es sage, und niemals, zu keiner Zeit, anders verfahren.“
