Episode of Obstacles to Gautama; Gaṇeśa’s Appearing Through Misguided Worship
यावदाश्रममध्ये त्वं तावदेव हविर्भुजः । पितरश्च न गृह्णंति ह्यस्मद्दत्तं हि किञ्चन
yāvadāśramamadhye tvaṃ tāvadeva havirbhujaḥ | pitaraśca na gṛhṇaṃti hyasmaddattaṃ hi kiñcana
Solange du innerhalb der Grenzen des Āśrama verweilst, bist du wahrlich der Verzehrer des Havis, der Opfergabe; und die Pitṛs, die Ahnen, nehmen überhaupt nichts von dem an, was wir darbringen.
