Kumārasya Krāuñcaparvatagamanam
Kumāra’s Departure to Mount Krāuñca

It emphasizes that clarity in dharma and devotion arises through the guidance of realized sages, who dispel confusion and align the seeker’s understanding toward Shiva-bhakti and right conduct.
By highlighting narration of Shiva’s sacred household events (such as Gaṇeśa’s marriage), it supports Saguna-focused devotion—where hearing (śravaṇa) and remembrance of Shiva’s līlā naturally mature into steadier worship of Shiva, including Linga-upāsanā.
A practical takeaway is śravaṇa and manana: regularly listening to Shiva Purana kathā from a competent teacher and reflecting on it, supported by japa of “Om Namaḥ Śivāya” to steady the mind and remove भ्रम (confusion).
