Kumāra’s Departure to Mount Krāuñca
देवादिप्रार्थनां तां च शिवाज्ञासंकुलां गुरुः । न मेने स कुमारो हि महाहंकारविह्वलः
devādiprārthanāṃ tāṃ ca śivājñāsaṃkulāṃ guruḥ | na mene sa kumāro hi mahāhaṃkāravihvalaḥ
Doch jener Guru, der Kumāra, nahm das Flehen der Götter nicht an, obgleich es vom Gebot Śivas durchdrungen war; von großem Ich-Dünkel verwirrt, schenkte er ihm keine Beachtung.
