Andhakeśvara-liṅga Māhātmya and Śiva’s Subjugation of Andhaka (अन्धकेश्वरलिङ्गमाहात्म्य तथा अन्धकवध-प्रसङ्ग)

तेन यावत्कृता नैव पूजा वै शंकरस्य च । तावत्पूजा न कर्त्तव्या कृता चेन्न शुभापि सा

tena yāvatkṛtā naiva pūjā vai śaṃkarasya ca | tāvatpūjā na karttavyā kṛtā cenna śubhāpi sā

Solange die Verehrung Śaṅkaras nicht in jener Weise ordnungsgemäß vollzogen wurde, soll keine andere Verehrung begonnen werden; und selbst wenn sie vollzogen wird, wird sie nicht glückverheißend.
