न्यासवर्णनम् (Nyāsa-varṇanam) — Description of Nyāsa in the Saṃnyāsa Procedure

अकारमप्युकारं च मकारं बिन्दुसंयुतम् । नमोन्तं प्रोच्य सर्वत्र हृदयादौ न्यसेदथ

akāramapyukāraṃ ca makāraṃ bindusaṃyutam | namontaṃ procya sarvatra hṛdayādau nyasedatha

Sprich die Silbe „a“, dann „u“, dann „ma“ verbunden mit dem Bindu — so entsteht „Oṁ“; und füge am Ende „namaḥ“ hinzu. Danach vollziehe die Nyāsa überall, beginnend beim Herzen und den übrigen Gliedern.

Nyāsa makes worship embodied: alongside external Liṅga-pūjā, the practitioner installs Oṁ and “namaḥ” within the limbs, treating the body as a sacred seat of Saguna Śiva for focused devotion and purity.

Recite Oṁ (a-u-ma with bindu) followed by “namaḥ”, then perform kara/anga-nyāsa beginning at the heart—mentally placing the mantra in the heart and subsequent body points before japa or pūjā.
