प्रकाशशक्तिसहितं मार्तण्डं च ततः परम् । आवाहयामि नम इत्यावाह्या वाहनाख्यया

Transliteration

prakāśaśaktisahitaṃ mārtaṇḍaṃ ca tataḥ param | āvāhayāmi nama ityāvāhyā vāhanākhyayā

Translation

Dann, zusammen mit seiner strahlenden Śakti, rufe ich Mārtaṇḍa (die Sonne) herbei; indem man spricht: „Ich rufe dich—namah (Ehrerbietung)“, soll er gemäß dem Ritus namens Vāhana (Heranführen/Invokation) ordnungsgemäß eingeladen werden.
