Description of the Conduct and Daily Discipline of Saṃnyāsa
Suta Goswami (narrating the Kailasha Samhita’s yogic teaching to the sages, conveying Shaiva contemplative doctrine)
Tattva Level: pati
Shiva Form: Sadāśiva
It teaches inner Shaiva contemplation: the yogin visualizes the ascent of awareness through the six cakras up to the Brahma-randhra, recognizing Shiva (Pati) as the supreme, all-radiant tejas that grants liberation.
Just as the Linga is worshipped outwardly as the sign of the Supreme, this verse presents the inward Linga—Shiva’s luminous presence realized through yogic contemplation within the subtle body, culminating at the crown.
A dhyāna practice: meditate on the six cakras from Mūlādhāra to Brahma-randhra as filled with Shiva’s lightning-like radiance; this can be supported by japa of the Panchakshara (Om Namaḥ Śivāya) and steady breath-awareness.
