tīramāgatya kaupīnaṃ prakṣālyācamya ca dvidhā | prokṣayetpraṇavenaiva vastramaṃgopamārjanam
Am Flussufer angekommen, wasche man das kaupīna (Lendentuch) und vollziehe ācamana zweimal. Dann, indem man allein den Praṇava (Oṁ) spricht, besprenge man zur Reinigung und wische den Körper mit demselben Tuch ab, als Läuterungsritus vor der Verehrung.
