The Greatness of the Praṇava (Om) as Śiva
Lord Shiva
Tattva Level: pasha
Shiva Form: Sadāśiva
It defines a complete Shaiva sādhana framework: realization arises when mantra and deity-contemplation are supported by proper method (yantra and ritual prapañca) and transmitted through the living lineage of Guru and disciple.
The “devatā” indicates the chosen form of Śiva (often worshipped as the Liṅga), while mantra and yantra structure the devotee’s approach so Saguna worship becomes a disciplined doorway to the highest Śiva-tattva.
Undertake Guru-given mantra-japa (such as the Pañcākṣarī), combine it with focused contemplation (yantra/dhyāna), and perform the prescribed worship-method (pūjā-prapañca) under guidance for steady progress.
