मुक्तयतिदेहसंस्काररहस्यं — The Esoteric Rites for the Bodies of Liberated Ascetics
मनोवेगं सर्वगं च विमानमनुगृह्य च । भुक्तभोगस्य तस्यापि भोगकौतूहलक्षये
manovegaṃ sarvagaṃ ca vimānamanugṛhya ca | bhuktabhogasya tasyāpi bhogakautūhalakṣaye
Und (Śiva) erwies ihm Gnade und verlieh ihm ein himmlisches Vimāna—so schnell wie der Gedanke und fähig, überallhin zu gelangen. Doch selbst bei dem, der die Genüsse bereits gekostet hatte, als die Neugier auf weiteres Genießen erlosch, erwachte die Hinwendung zum höchsten Ziel.

It highlights Śiva’s anugraha (grace): worldly boons may be given, but the deeper transformation occurs when attachment to enjoyment naturally wanes, opening the seeker to dispassion and liberation-oriented insight.
The verse reflects Saguna Śiva as the compassionate Lord who grants boons; in Linga-worship, devotees seek not only prosperity but also inner purification so that bhoga gives way to vairāgya and devotion ripens toward mokṣa.
A practical takeaway is to pair boon-seeking with daily Shiva-sadhana—japa of the Pañcākṣarī (Om Namaḥ Śivāya) and mental offering—so that desires subside and the mind turns steadily toward Śiva.
