पवमाना असृक्षत पवित्रमति धारया । मरुत्वन्तो मत्सरा इन्द्रिया हया मेधामभि प्रयांसि च ॥

Transliteration

pávamānā asṛkṣata pavítram áti dhā́rayā | marútvanto matsarā indríyā háyā medhā́m abhí práyāṃsi ca ||

Translation

Die Pavamānas sind losgeströmt, im Strom über das Sieb hinaus. Mit der Kraft der Maruts sind sie trunken vor Wonne; Indras Mächte sind sie, schnelle Rosse, die zur medhā (Einsichtskraft) und zu den Vorwärtsgängen (prayāṃsi) drängen.
