Transliteration

ā́ hí ṣmā sūnáve pitā́ ā́piḥ yájatī ā́paye | sakhā́ sákhye váreṇyaḥ ||

Translation

Denn wahrlich: wie ein Vater zu seinem Sohn, wie ein naher Helfer zu dem Opfernden—so komme zu uns der erwählte Freund, im Freundschaftsbund, das Band zwischen Mensch und Gottheit stärkend.
