वि पृच्छामि पाक्या न देवान्वषट्कृतस्याद्भुतस्य दस्रा । पातं च सह्यसो युवं च रभ्यसो नः ॥
Transliteration
ví pṛcchāmi pākyā̀ na devā́n vaṣaṭ-kṛtasyādbhūtásya dasrā | pātáṃ ca sahyáso yuváṃ ca rábhya so naḥ ||
Translation
Ich frage euch offen und klar, nicht wie einer, der aus Unwissen die Götter befragt: o Dasrā, wundertätig Geschickte, beim Weihe-Ruf „vaṣaṭ“ — seid uns beide Schutz in dem, was zu erdulden ist, und schnelle Helfer in dem, was zu ergreifen ist.
