Transliteration

návyaṁ tád ukthyàṁ hitáṁ devāsaḥ supravācánam | ṛtám arṣanti síndhavaḥ satyáṁ tātāna sū́ryo vittáṁ me asyá rodasī ||

Translation

O Götter, dieses neue, preiswürdige Wort, recht eingesetzt, schön zu sprechen — es werde gefestigt. Die Sindhus, die Ströme, fließen nach ṛta, nach der Ríta; Sūrya breitet die Wahrheit, satya, aus. Himmel und Erde mögen dieses Finden in mir erkennen und bekräftigen.
