धर्मार्थसहितंवाक्यंसर्वेषांरक्षसांहितम् ।युक्तंविभीषणेनोक्तंमोहत्तस्य न रोचते ।।।।

Transliteration

dharmārthasahitaṁ vākyaṁ sarveṣāṁ rakṣasāṁ hitam |

yuktaṁ vibhīṣaṇenoktaṁ mohāt tasya na rocate ||6.95.19||

Translation

Obwohl Vibhīṣaṇa Worte sprach, im Dharma und in kluger Staatskunst gegründet, zum Heil aller Rākṣasas, fand Rāvaṇa, vom Wahn verblendet, keinen Gefallen daran und nahm sie nicht an.
