एषपन्थाःसुयोधानांसर्वामरगणेष्वपि ।।।।यःकृतेहन्यतेभर्तुस्सपुमान्स्वर्गमृच्छति ।

Transliteration

eṣa panthāḥ suyodhānāṃ sarvāmaragaṇeṣv api |

yaḥ kṛte hanyate bhartus sa pumān svargam ṛcchati || 6.93.9 ||

Translation

Dies ist der Pfad edler Krieger, selbst unter den Scharen der Unsterblichen: wer für die Sache seines Herrn erschlagen wird, gelangt in den Himmel.
