Sarga 93: Rāvaṇa’s Grief and Fury after Indrajit’s Fall; Move to Slay Vaidehī and Ministerial Restraint
'While Sugriva is living, Lakshmana and Raghava also, deserting me, you have gone. Where have you gone'?
Actions have consequences: reliance on violent power to ‘solve’ suffering collapses; dharma teaches that inner pain cannot be cured by domination alone.
Rāvaṇa laments that Indrajit died before defeating the remaining leaders of Rāma’s alliance, naming Sugrīva, Rāma, and Lakṣmaṇa.
Strategic realism (in negative form): even in grief, Rāvaṇa recognizes the living strength of the opposing dhārmic coalition.
