The Slaying of Indrajit
ततोरथस्थमालोक्यसौमत्रीरावणात्मजम् ।वानराश्चमहावीर्याराक्षसश्चविभीषणः ।।।।विस्मयंपरमंजग्मुर्लाघवात्तस्यधीमतः ।
tato ratha-stham ālokya saumitri rāvaṇātmajam |
vānarāś ca mahā-vīryā rākṣasaś ca vibhīṣaṇaḥ ||
vismayaṃ paramaṃ jagmur lāghavāt tasya dhīmataḥ ||
Als sie darauf Rāvaṇas Sohn auf dem Wagen sitzen sahen, gerieten Lakshmana, die hochheldenhaften Vānara und der Rākṣasa Vibhīṣaṇa in großes Staunen über die Schnelligkeit und Gewandtheit jenes klugen Kriegers.
Seeing Indrajith seated in the chariot, great hero Lakshmana as well as the Vanaras and Vibheeshana wondered how easily he went and returned.
