Indrajit’s Illusory Sita Episode and Hanuman’s Rebuke
सीतांहत्वातु न चिरंजीविष्यसिकथञ्चन ।।।।वधार्हकर्मणानेनममहस्तगतोह्यसि ।
sītāṃ hatvā tu na ciraṃ jīviṣyasi kathañcana | vadhārha-karmaṇānena mama hastagato hy asi ||
Wenn du Sītā tötest, wirst du nicht lange leben — keinesfalls. Durch diese Tat, die den Tod verdient, bist du wahrhaft in meine Hand geraten.
"Indeed, you will not live long after killing Sita. You deserve to be killed for your actions, that is why you have come into my hands."
