Bearing Mountain
स तंसमीक्ष्यानलरश्मिदीप्तंविसिष्मियेवासवदूतसूनुः ।आवृत्यतंचौषधिपर्वतेन्द्रंतत्रौषधीनांविचयंचकार ।।6.74.62।।
sa taṃ samīkṣyānalaraśmidīptaṃ visiṣmiye vāsavadūtasūnuḥ | āvṛtya taṃ cauṣadhiparvatendraṃ tatrāuṣadhīnāṃ vicayaṃ cakāra || 6.74.62 ||
Als er jenen Berg sah, der in feuergleichen Strahlen leuchtete, geriet der Sohn des Boten Vāsavas (Hanumān) in Staunen; den Herrn der kräutertragenden Berge umkreisend, prüfte er dort die Kräuter und suchte sie zu erkennen.
Observing the herbs blazing like fire, he was astonished at the herbs on the mountain and went round thinking of the names of herbs (asked by Jambavan).
Dharma involves prajñā (discernment) in service: the goal is healing, but it must be pursued with careful identification and responsibility.
Hanumān reaches the blazing herb-mountain, circles it, and tries to identify the specific herbs needed.
Viveka (discriminating judgment) allied to devotion to duty—he does not act blindly even under time pressure.
