कुम्भकर्णवधः

The Slaying of Kumbhakarna

एवंगृहीतेसुग्रीवेकिंकर्तव्यंमयाभवेत् ।।।।यद्वैन्यायंमयाकर्तुंतत्करिष्यामिसर्वधा ।भूत्वापर्वतसङ्काशोनाशयिष्यामिराक्षसम् ।।।।

evaṃ gṛhīte sugrīve kiṃ kartavyaṃ mayā bhavet ||

yad vai nyāyaṃ mayā kartuṃ tat kariṣyāmi sarvadhā |

bhūtvā parvata-saṅkāśo nāśayiṣyāmi rākṣasam ||

Nun, da Sugrīva ergriffen worden ist, was soll ich tun? Was immer recht ist, dass ich tue, das werde ich ohne Fehl vollbringen. Berggleich an Macht werde ich den Rākṣasa vernichten.
