कुम्भकर्णवधः

The Slaying of Kumbhakarna

विद्रुतांवाहिनींदृष्टवावानराणामितस्ततः ।कुम्भकर्णेनसुग्रीवंगृहीतंचापिवानरम् ।।।।हनुमांश्चिन्तयामासमतिमान् मारुतात्मजः ।

vidrutāṃ vāhinīṃ dṛṣṭvā vānarāṇām itas tataḥ |

kumbhakarṇena sugrīvaṃ gṛhītaṃ cāpi vānarām ||

hanumāṃś cintayām āsa matimān mārutātmajaḥ |

Als er sah, wie das Heer der Vānaras nach allen Seiten floh und Sugrīva von Kumbhakarṇa ergriffen war, begann Hanumān—der kluge Sohn Mārutas—nachzusinnen und zu beraten.
