कुम्भकर्णवधः
The Slaying of Kumbhakarna
अद्यत्वयाहम्सौमित्रेबालेनापि , नापिपराक्रमैः ।तोषितोगन्तुमिच्छामित्यामनुज्ञाप्यराघवम् ।।।।
adya tvayāhaṃ saumitre bālenāpi nāpi parākramaiḥ | toṣito gantum icchāmi ity āmanujñāpya rāghavam ||
„Saumitri, heute bin ich mit dir zufrieden—obwohl du noch jung bist—durch deine Tapferkeit. Nachdem ich Abschied genommen habe, wünsche ich zu Rāghava (Rāma) zu gehen.“
"Now I am gratified with your valour, though young. Taking leave of you, I wish to go to Raghava."
