प्रकृत्याह्येषतेजस्वीकुम्भकर्णोमहाबलः ।अन्येषांराक्षसेन्द्राणांवरदानकृतंबलम् ।।6.61.12।।

Transliteration

prakṛtyā hy eṣa tejasvī kumbhakarṇo mahābalaḥ |

anyeṣāṃ rākṣasendrāṇāṃ varadānakṛtaṃ balam ||6.61.12||

Translation

Denn Kumbhakarṇa ist von Natur aus strahlend und von ungeheurer Stärke; die Kraft der anderen Fürsten der Rākṣasas hingegen ist durch empfangene Gnadengaben und Boons erst gewirkt.
