„Schlage schnell, ohne Zögern, und erlange dauerhaften Ruhm; dann, nachdem ich deine Tapferkeit gemessen habe, werde ich dich vernichten, o Vānara.“
"O Vanara! Go about without any hesitation. Attain the fame of a Vanara hitting Ravana permanently. Thereafter knowing your prowess, I shall put an end to you."
The verse illustrates adharma’s pride: Ravana treats violence as a contest for fame, not as a duty restrained by justice and truth.
Ravana challenges Hanuman to attack first, boasting that he will destroy Hanuman afterward.
Negatively, arrogance and contempt; dharma would emphasize humility and accountability for wrongdoing.
