युद्धकाण्डे एकोनषष्टितमः सर्गः

Rāvaṇa’s Assault on Nīla and Lakṣmaṇa; Hanumān Bears Rāma

तान् प्रेक्षमाणस्सहसानिकृत्तानिकृत्तभोगानिवपन्नगेन्द्रान् ।लङ्केश्वरःक्रोधवशंजगामससर्जचान्यान्निशितान्पृषत्कान् ।।6.59.100।।

tān prekṣamāṇaḥ sahasā nikṛttān nikṛttabhogān iva pannagendrān | laṅkeśvaraḥ krodhavaśaṃ jagāma sasarja cānyān niśitān pṛṣatkān ||6.59.100||

Als er jene Pfeile plötzlich zerschmettert sah, gleich Schlangenkönigen, denen die Windungen abgeschnitten sind, geriet der Herr von Laṅkā in die Gewalt des Zorns und entsandte weitere scharfe Geschosse.
