सम्नत्यःपावकज्वालाःशिवाघोराववाशिरे ।।।।अन्तरिक्षात्पपातोल्कावायुश्चपरुषंवनौ ।
vamnatyaḥ pāvakajvālāḥ śivā ghorā vavāśire | antarikṣāt papātolkā vāyuś ca paruṣaṁ vavau ||
Schreckliche Schakale heulten, als spien sie Feuerzungen; aus dem Himmel fiel ein Meteor, und ein rauer Wind blies — Vorzeichen des Untergangs für das ungerechte Heer.
