The Slaying of Dhumrākṣa
तेगदाभिश्चभीमाभिःपट्टसै: कूटमुद्गरैः ।घोरैश्चपरिघैश्चित्रैस्त्रिशूलैश्चापिसंश्रितैः ।।6.52.5।।विदार्यमाणारक्षोभिर्वानरास्तेमहाबलाः ।अमर्षाज्जनितोद्धर्षाश्चक्रुःकर्माण्यभीतवत् ।।6.52.6।।
te gadābhiś ca bhīmābhiḥ paṭṭasaiḥ kūṭa-mudgaraiḥ |
ghoraiś ca parighaiś citrais triśūlaiś cāpi saṃśritaiḥ ||6.52.5||
vidāryamāṇā rakṣobhir vānarās te mahābalāḥ |
amarṣāj janitoddharṣāś cakruḥ karmāṇy abhītavat ||6.52.6||
Jene mächtigen vānaras, obgleich von den rākṣasas verwundet, ergriffen furchtbare Waffen — Keulen, Äxte, zerschmetternde Hämmer, schaurige Eisenstangen und mancherlei Dreizacke — und, vom Unmut zu glühendem Mut entflammt, vollbrachten sie ihre Kampfwerke ohne Furcht.
