Garuda’s Arrival and the Release from the Serpent-Arrow Bond
सुग्रीवस्यवचश्श्रुत्वावालिपुत्रोऽङ्गदोऽब्रवीत् ।नत्वंपश्यसिरामंचलक्ष्मणंचमहारथम् ।।6.50.2।।शरजालचितौवीरावुभौदशरथात्मजौ ।शरतल्पेमहात्मानौशयानौरुधिरोक्षितौ ।।6.50.3।।
sugrīvasya vacaḥ śrutvā vāliputro 'ṅgado 'bravīt |
na tvaṃ paśyasi rāmaṃ ca lakṣmaṇaṃ ca mahāratham || 6.50.2 ||
Als Aṅgada, Vālis Sohn, Sugrīvas Worte hörte, antwortete er: 'Siehst du nicht Rāma und Lakṣmaṇa, den großen Wagenkrieger?'
"These two bulls among men of great valour and fame whose refuge was sought by me are lying asleep wounded all over and limbs broken."
