The Lament under the Net of Arrows

गवयेनगवाक्षेणशरभेणगजेनच ।अन्यैश्चहरिभिर्युद्धंमदर्थेत्यक्तजीवितैः ।।6.49.27।।

Transliteration

aṅgadena kṛtaṃ karma maindena dvividena ca |

yuddhaṃ kesariṇā saṅkhye ghoraṃ sampātinā kṛtam ||6.49.26||

Translation

Taten wurden von Aṅgada, Mainda und Dvivida vollbracht; und im dichten Schlachtgetümmel wurde ein heftiger Kampf von Keśarī und auch von Sampāti geführt.
