Transliteration

vānarair balavadbhiś ca babhūva drumapāṇibhiḥ | saṃvṛtā sarvato laṅkā duṣpraveśā 'pi vāyunā ||6.41.53||

Translation

Laṅkā wurde von allen Seiten von mächtigen Vānaras umschlossen, die Bäume in den Händen trugen—so fest versiegelt, dass selbst der Wind nur schwer Eingang fände.
