Portents Before the March to Laṅkā
क्षिप्रमद्यैवदुर्दर्षांपुरींरावणपालिताम् ।अभियामजनेनैवसर्वतोहरिभिर्ववृताः ।।6.23.13।।
kṣipram adyaiva durdarṣāṁ purīṁ rāvaṇapālitām | abhiyāma javenaiva sarvato haribhir vavṛtāḥ ||
Schnell — noch heute — werden wir eilig gegen jene furchtbare Stadt vorrücken, die von Rāvaṇa beherrscht wird, während die Harīs (Vānaras) sich ausbreiten und sie von allen Seiten umringen.
