सागरप्रशमनम् / The Pacification of the Ocean and the Building of Nala’s Bridge
ततोदेवस्सगन्धर्वास्सिद्दाश्चपरमर्षयः ।आगम्यगगनेतस्थुर्द्रष्टुकामास्तदद्बुतम् ।।।।
tato devāḥ sagandharvāḥ siddhāś ca paramarṣayaḥ | āgamya gagane tasthuḥ draṣṭukāmās tad adbhutam ||
Da kamen die Devas samt den Gandharvas, den Siddhas und den großen Rishis und standen im Himmel, begierig, jenes Wunder zu schauen.
The Gandharvas, gods and even siddhas felt happy and reached their stationed in the sky to see the wonderful bridge.
Righteous action draws universal recognition: when dharma is pursued, even higher beings are depicted as bearing witness and approving.
Celestial beings assemble in the sky to observe the unprecedented bridge-building that enables the march to Laṅkā.
Collective merit and moral legitimacy—an undertaking aligned with dharma becomes “worthy of being seen” by all worlds.
