सागरप्रशमनम् / The Pacification of the Ocean and the Building of Nala’s Bridge
एषसेतुंमहोत्साहःकरोतुमयिवानरः ।तमहंधारयिष्यामियथाह्येषपितातथा ।।।।
eṣa setuṃ mahotsāhaḥ karotu mayi vānaraḥ | tam ahaṃ dhārayiṣyāmi yathā hy eṣa pitā tathā ||
Möge dieser eifrige Vānara die Brücke auf mir errichten; ich werde sie tragen, denn an Können ist er wie sein Vater.
"This monkey is full of zeal. He will build a bridge over me, and I will bear it. In that way he is like his father."
