Transliteration

sahitaṃ pratijagrāha bhāryā-hartāram āgataḥ | kapoto vānaraśreṣṭhaḥ kiṃ punar mad-vidho janaḥ || 6.18.24 ||

Translation

O Bester der Vānaras, jene Taube nahm sogar den auf und gewährte Schutz, der ihr die Gefährtin geraubt hatte, als er herankam; wie viel mehr muss dann ein Mensch wie ich so handeln!
