Als Kakutstha fortgegangen war, sprach Mahendra, der Bezwinger Pākas, in großer Zuneigung zu Rāghava, der mit gefalteten Händen ehrfürchtig dastand.
Mahendra, the tamer of demon Paka, spoke very affectionately to Rama, who stood with joined palms before Dasharatha who had returned.
Reverence and humility before rightful authority: Rāma’s folded-hands posture signals disciplined respect, which invites benevolent, dharma-aligned counsel from the divine.
With the preceding celestial episode concluding, Indra (Mahendra) now addresses Rāma, who stands respectfully, preparing the next segment of divine interaction.
Rāma’s vinaya (humility) and maryādā (propriety), even at the height of victory.
