सीताया अग्निप्रवेशः
Sita’s Ordeal by Fire / Agni-Pariksha
ददृशुस्तांमहाभागांप्रविशन्तींहुताशनम् ।।।।सीतांकृत्स्नास्त्रयोलोकाःपुण्यामाज्याहुतीमिव ।
dadṛśus tāṃ mahābhāgāṃ praviśantīṃ hutāśanam |
sītāṃ kṛtsnāḥ trayo lokāḥ puṇyām ājyāhutīm iva ||
Die gesamten drei Welten sahen die hochbegnadete Sītā in das Feuer eintreten, wie eine heilige Ghee-Opfergabe, die in die Flammen gegossen wird.
