Transliteration

praṇamya daivatebhyaś ca brāhmaṇebhyaś ca maithilī | baddhāñjalipuṭā cedam uvāca agnisamīpataḥ || 6.119.24 ||

Translation

Nachdem Maithilī sich vor den Göttern und den Brāhmaṇas verneigt hatte, sprach sie, die Hände in Ehrfurcht gefaltet, nahe beim Feuer diese Worte.
