Lament of the Rākṣasa Women upon Seeing Rāvaṇa Slain

असुरेभ्यःसुरेभ्योवापन्नगेभ्योऽपिवातथा ।भयंयो न विजानातितस्येदंमानुषाद् भयम् ।।।।

asurebhyaḥ surebhyo vā pannagebhyo 'pi vā tathā |

bhayaṃ yo na vijānāti tasyedaṃ mānuṣād bhayam ||6.113.14||

Der, der keine Furcht kannte—weder vor Asuras noch vor Göttern, ja nicht einmal vor den Schlangengeschlechtern—der hat nun Furcht erfahren durch einen bloßen Menschen.
