Transliteration

sanirghātā maholkāś ca samprapetur mahāsvanāḥ | viṣādayaṃs te rakṣāṃsi rāvaṇasya tadāhitāḥ ||

Translation

Meteore fielen herab, begleitet von donnerndem Krachen und gewaltigem Dröhnen; und die Rākṣasas wurden mutlos, da sie darin Zeichen von Rāvaṇas nahendem Untergang sahen.
