Lakshmana’s Revival by the Herb-Mountain
नजीवन्यास्यतेशत्रुस्तवबाणपथंगतः ।।।।नर्दतस्तीक्षणदंष्ट्रस्यसिंहस्येवमहागजः ।
na jīvan yāsyate śatrus tava bāṇapathaṃ gataḥ |
nardatas tīkṣṇadaṃṣṭrasya siṃhasyeva mahāgajaḥ ||
Kein Feind, der in die Bahn deiner Pfeile geraten ist, wird lebend entkommen; so wie ein mächtiger Elefant nicht überlebt, wenn ihn ein brüllender Löwe mit scharfen Fängen packt.
'Seeing Lakshmana in this state, just as in dream, my limbs are retrieving while walking, being on the point of death intense sorrow is growing and the desire to live is gone.'
