Lakshmana’s Revival by the Herb-Mountain
एवंकथयमानंतुप्रशस्यपवनात्मजम् ।।।।सुषेणोवानरश्रेष्ठोजग्राहोत्पाट्यचौषधीः ।
evaṃ kathayamānaṃ tu praśasya pavanātmajam |
suṣeṇo vānaraśreṣṭho jagrāhotpāṭya cauṣadhīḥ ||
Als der Sohn des Windes so sprach, pries Suṣeṇa—der Vornehmste unter den Vānara—ihn, riss die benötigten Heilkräuter mit der Wurzel aus und nahm sie an sich.
"O leader of the Vanaras! I did not know those herbs. So, the mountain peak was brought here by me."
Dharma is fulfilled through mutual respect and right action: the doer is praised, and the expert promptly applies knowledge to restore life.
After Hanuman delivers the peak, Sushena commends him and extracts the medicinal herbs needed for treatment.
Gratitude and competence—Sushena acknowledges service and performs his healing duty without delay.
