शैलाग्रचयसङ्काशंशैलशृङ्गमिवोन्नतम् ।सुविभक्तमहाकक्षंमहाजनपरिग्रहम् ।।।।

Transliteration

śailāgracayasaṅkāśaṃ śailaśṛṅgam ivonnatam | suvibhaktamahākakṣaṃ mahājanaparigraham ||

Translation

Rāvaṇas Palast ragte erhaben empor, gleich einem Berggipfel, von vielen Spitzen umdrängt—hoch wie ein Gebirgskamm; seine großen Hallen waren wohlgeordnet in weite Bereiche gegliedert und von Scharen erfüllt.
