मणिरत्नमिदं दत्तं वैदेह्याश्श्वशुरेण मे।वधूकाले यथाबद्धमधिकं मूर्ध्नि शोभते।।।।

Transliteration

maṇi-ratnam idaṃ dattaṃ vaidehyāḥ śvaśureṇa me |

vadhū-kāle yathābaddham adhikaṃ mūrdhni śobhate ||

Translation

Dieses Kleinod wurde Vaidehī von meinem Schwiegervater gegeben; zur Zeit unserer Vermählung befestigt und gebunden, glänzte es umso mehr auf ihrem Haupt.
