सुन्दरकाण्डे अष्टपञ्चाशः सर्गः
हनुमद्वृत्तान्तकथनम्, सीताभिज्ञान-प्रदानम्, लङ्कादाह-वर्णनम्
तस्य मां विद्धि भृत्यं त्वं हनुमन्तमिहागतम्।भर्त्राहं प्रेषितस्तुभ्यं रामेणाक्लिष्टकर्मणा।।।।
tasya māṃ viddhi bhṛtyaṃ tvaṃ hanumantam ihāgatam | bhartrāhaṃ preṣitas tubhyaṃ rāmeṇākliṣṭakarmaṇā ||
«Wisse, dass ich sein Diener bin — Hanumān, der hierher gekommen ist. Dein Gemahl Rāma, unermüdlich im Handeln, hat mich zu dir gesandt.»
