वैदेह्या वचनं श्रुत्वा करुणं साश्रुभाषितम्।अथाब्रवीन्महातेजा हनुमान्मारुतात्मजः।।5.38.49।।

Transliteration

vaidehyā vacanaṃ śrutvā karuṇaṃ sāśru-bhāṣitam | athābravīn mahātejā hanumān mārutātmajaḥ ||5.38.49||

Translation

Als er Vaidehīs mitleidsvolle, unter Tränen gesprochene Worte vernommen hatte, erwiderte darauf Hanumān, der strahlende Sohn des Windes.
