Transliteration

sa taṃ nipatitaṃ bhūmau śaraṇyaḥ śaraṇāgatam || 5.38.34 ||

vadhārham api kākutsthaḥ kṛpayā paryapālayat |

Translation

Doch Kakutstha, der Beschützer der Zuflucht Suchenden, sah ihn als Bittenden zu Boden gestürzt; und obwohl er des Todes würdig war, bewahrte er ihn aus Mitgefühl.
