Sita’s Lament amid Rākṣasī Threats
Surrounded by the ogresses, distressed Sita, who was like the daughter of a divine, did not get any solace.
It shows the human limits of endurance under adharma; dharma literature records despair honestly while still framing the need for righteous intervention and protection.
Sītā feels trapped and hopeless because constant guarding prevents any reunion with Rāma.
Truthfulness about suffering—she does not disguise her despair, even while remaining morally unyielding.
