Hanuman’s Circuit of Ravana’s Palace and the Crisis of Deliberation
My glory which had a good start (in the form of bringing Rama to Sugriva) and brought fortune to Sugriva and fame to me has been snapped as I could not find Sita.
Dharma includes accountability: fame and success are meaningful only when aligned with fulfilling one’s entrusted duty—here, the duty to locate Sītā.
After prolonged searching, Hanuman laments that his earlier achievements feel nullified if he cannot complete the mission.
Humility and responsibility: he does not cling to past merit; he measures himself by present duty.
